Skin Scentia was born out of my search for skincare products that would be safe to use on my sensitive skin. After realizing that no options addressed inflammation in addition to natural aging and sun damage, I knew there simply had to be a better way to rejuvenate and provide relief to sensitive skin – even if it didn’t exist yet.

Today, Skin Scentia’s cellular beauty approach is shaped by our understanding that the key to reduced skin sensitivity is a strong barrier function and a reduction in the number of chemicals we apply. As a company, we are passionate about empowering consumers with this knowledge, and we are dedicated to helping them overcome their skincare challenges with high quality products and education.

As a retired marketing executive with a global corporation, I lived the rigors of a busy life and hectic travel schedule and the need for a simple, but highly effective skin care routine.  As a chemist, I understand the negative impact of putting too many chemicals, and the wrong chemicals, on sensitive skin.  Hailing from Puerto Rico, I know all too well the damage to skin from intense sun exposure.  All of these life experiences infuse Skin Scentia to bring to you our products that are highly effective, but simple in design and combined in simple routines to achieve true skin wellness.
