    Not all plant-based ingredients are safe to use on the skin as some can be skin irritants and/or allergens. We screen all our ingredients for biocompatibility. We use a standard that is more expansive that most so call “clean” beauty lines and includes low risk of having sensitizing, toxic, injurious effects on the skin and generating the most appropriate beneficial cellular or tissue response.
    Our formulations are scientifically develope with 10 to 12 ingredients including various multi-benefit actives at professional strength concentrations without fillers or non-functional ingredients. This results on higher efficacy and limits the potential to develop sensitivities.
    We do not use essential oils because they are often sensitizing, particularly after sun exposure.
